Discover the underground of the Koritnica canyon and walk through the 400m long tunnel under the Kluže fortress.

The performance by Društvo 1313 is an unforgettable historical reenactment that transports visitors back to the time of World War I, specifically to the Isonzo Front. Set in the authentic surroundings of the Kluže Fortress, the members of the society portray the daily life of soldiers with humor and emotion – from tooth extractions and love letters to treating the wounded and facing fear.
This performance is both entertaining and educational. Visitors learn lesser-known facts about the war while experiencing the human side of military life that transcends national and political boundaries.
Suitable for all generations, the show is a perfect addition to any visit to Bovec and the surrounding area.
Društvo 1313 has been active since 1990 and is known for its dedication to history and preserving the heritage of the Isonzo Front. Their performance is more than just theatre – it’s living history that will move you and make you laugh.
As part of the Soča Valley Hiking and Biking Festival and World Tourism Day, entrance to the Kluže Fortress is free on this day.
