List Map Tolmin Gorges The Tolmin gorges are the lowest and southernmost entry point into the Triglav National Park and Tolmin’s most important sight of nature. Beri Waterfall Kozjak waterfalls The mysterious Kozjak waterfall, which is captured in a stony chamber, is according to many the most beautiful waterfall in Slovenia. The Boka waterfall The most water-rich and mightiest waterfall in Slovenia, with a total height of 144 metres and width of 18 metres, is also one of the most majestic waterfalls in Europe. Virje waterfall The magical corner next to the Virje Waterfall is the right location for lovers of relaxation, people in love and photographers. The Great Soča Gorge This pristine gorge is one of the most beautiful natural sights on the Soča River and an important natural treasure of the Triglav National Park. Pršjak waterfall The picturesque, 27-metre-high Pršjak Waterfall is the most beautiful and easily accessible waterfall in the treasury of the wild gorges and wonderful waterfalls in the Trebušica Valley. The Šunik water grove This relaxing corner of water energies in the middle of the pristine nature of the Triglav National Park is an excellent idea for a nature trip. The Small Soča Gorge Directly before the confluence with the Vrsnica stream, the Soča River carved the approximately 100 metres long Small Soča Gorge, which is up to 6 metres deep and only 1 meter wide in the narrowest part. The Koritnica Gorge At the Kluže fort in the Triglav National Park, the kilometre-long Koritnica canyon narrows into a gorge that is just a few metres wide, 70 m deep and some 200 m long. The Gorejca stream and waterfalls Some time ago, the locals dammed a section of the Gorejca stream, creating a small pool (10 m x 5 m) where the water reaches temperatures of up to 20 ºC. Zapotok Waterfalls The stream boasts one of the highest waterfalls in the Triglav National Park and has accumulated wild moraines in Zapoden. The Globoški potok stream and waterfalls Over a course of over 100 m, there is a series of waterfalls below Skutnik. Above the Učja gorge, they accumulate and flow into the 80 m triple waterfall on the Globoški potok stream. The Sopota waterfall The water falls over a precipice 60 metres deep in three levels. Koseč gorges Koseška korita (gorges), which are up to 60 meters deep and only part of which can be seen, are located below Koseč. Korita Soče pri Kršovcu Near the Golobar stream, where the Bovec Basin passes into the Triglav National Park, the Soča River carved 150-metre-long gorges that are only a few metres wide near Kršovec. The Fratarica stream and waterfalls Starting in the Loška stena snowfield, there are over 22 waterfalls in the course of the stream running towards Log pod Mangartom. The most famous is the 48 m Parabola waterfall in the lower section of the stream. With the permission of the Triglav National Park, several sports companies offer canyoning on the Fratarica. The Kaludrica stream and waterfalls The Kaludrica has its source under the north slope of Loška stena and flows into the Koritnica. There are three waterfalls on the stream, of which the most easily accessible is Kaluder, a broad waterfall 15 m in height. The Predelica stream and waterfalls This long stream with a famous, almost inaccessible gorge in the Triglav National Park springs from several sources at the Predel mountain pass and flows into the Koritnica in Log pod Mangartom. The Nemčlja gorge The Nemčlja stream has carved pools, waterfalls and erosion holes. Its highest waterfall, Veliki slap Nemčlje (18 m), has created a natural bridge that is one of the most important natural sights in the Triglav National Park. The Mlinarica gorge The picturesque Mlinarica gorge with steep high walls is an important natural monument in the Triglav National Park. Kloma stream and waterfalls Falling over the steep slopes in Zadnjica, there are several waterfalls around 10 m high as well as Slovenia's highest waterfall, Kloma (128 m). The Sušec stream and waterfalls On the north face of the Stol mountains, the Sušec stream has carved out a beautiful gorge boasting pools, waterfalls, rapids and gullies making up a unique natural water park.
