Complete closure of the road to Javorca church

From 25 June 2026 to 30 August 2026, the local road to the Memorial Church of the Holy Spirit in Javorca — from St Peter’s Church to Polog mountain pasture — is completely closed to all motor vehicles every day of the week. Please check the traffic regime and the shuttle bus timetable.
During the summer season, there is a complete road closure on the local road leading to the Church of the Holy Spirit in Javorca (from the Church of St. Peter to the Polog alpine pasture) under the following regime.
The Memorial Church of the Holy Spirit above the Tolminka Valley is dedicated to soldiers of various nationalities who fell on the Isonzo Front during the First World War.
The traffic restriction applies to all motor vehicles.
In the period from 25. 6. 2026 to 30. 8. 2026
on the local road to the Church of the Holy Spirit in Javorca (from the Church of St. Peter to the mountain pasture Polog), there is a complete road closure all days of the week.
In the period from 31. 8. 2026 to 27. 9. 2026
the road is completely closed on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
In the period from 25. 6. 2026 to 27. 9. 2026
the traffic restriction for motorhomes applies all days of the week.
During this period, we invite you to use the organised Shuttle Bus Tolmin service to access Javorca.
The service is intended for individual visitors and not for organised groups.
