This winter season, we can skate at the indoor skating rinks in Tolmin and Deskle, as well as at the outdoor skating rink in Bovec.
Ice skating rink Bovec
The outdoor skating rink in front of the Bovec Cultural House will be open from December 5, 2025 to January 11, 2026.
The ice rink is free, skate rental is 3.00 € per day.

Ice skating rink Tolmin
The 200 m2 covered ice rink on the upper plateau of the parking lot on Padlih Borcev Street behind the Tolmin Cinema will be open from December 5, 2025 to February 1, 2026.

Kanal Ice Rink
From 4 December 2025 to 1 March 2026, the ice rink will be open again, this time in Deskle on the meadow near the Health Center. The rink is covered by a tent, so skating is available even in bad weather. In addition to the ice rink, the Pri Zviti Lisički Bar will also be open.
Besides skating, many events will take place at the rink (DJ parties, children’s shows, hockey games, etc.).
This season will also feature the Ekonom Pot Grand Prix curling competition with cooking pots. It is a unique and somewhat special competition that originated in Italy. In December and during school holidays, skating lessons will be held for both children and adults at the rink.
