Blitz Bovec Marathon - ROAD CLOSURES

We would like to inform you that on Saturday, 5 September 2026, due to the BLITZ BOVEC MARATON 2026, there will be full and partial road closures on state roads. The Bovec bus station will be temporarily relocated to Bovec Airport.
ROAD CLOSURES "BLITZ BOVEC MARATON" - 21 km and 42 km
- Closure (zapora) No. 1 from 9:10 to 10:00 – from the start in Bovec to the Boka Waterfall car park along the road; closure through Bovec from 9:10 to 9:30
- Closure No. 2 from 9:20 to 10:40 – Srpenica (beginning of the village from the Kobarid direction) – Boka Waterfall car park
- Closure No. 3 from 9:55 to 12:00 – Log Čezsoški – Čezsoča
- Closure No. 4 from 10:15 to 12:30 – Čezsoča – bridge over the Soča River – Bovec (closure also through the village of Čezsoča);
- Čezsoča junction – roundabout by Hotel Mangart – partial one-way closure between 10:20 and 12:30
- Closure No. 5 from 10:30 to 12:30 – Naklo junction – Vodenca (short-term closures, occasional full closure)
- Closure No. 6 from 10:25 to 12:20 – from the "Slatenik" pool to "Štefen"
- Closure No. 7 from 11:00 to 13:20 – from Kamp Klin to "Kufenk" along the road
- Closure No. 8 from 10:35 to 14:15 – from "Kufenk" along the road to Kal Koritnica
- Closure No. 9 from 11:45 to 15:00 – short-term closures on the Bovec – Predel road at the turn-off to "Kukč"
- Closure No. 10 from 10:25 to 12:30 – from the roundabout by Hotel Mangart to "Rejda" and the finish / from "Rejda" to the finish until 15:25
ROAD CLOSURES "FUN RUN" - 7.6 km
- Closure (zapora) No. 1 from 8:55 (Fun Run start) to 9:20; from Bovec's main square, via Dvor, past the Petrol gas station, to the western turn-off for the airfield
- Closure No. 2 from 9:05 to 9:40; Bovec – Čezsoča road (mobile closure) and the road towards Vodenca – full closure
- Closure No. 3 from 9:15 to 10:00; short-term mobile or full closure at "Breg"
RELOCATION OF THE BOVEC BUS STATION
Dear passengers, on Saturday, September 5 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., the Bovec bus station will be temporary relocated to the bus stop at BOVEC AIRFIELD due to the organization of the Blitz Bovec Maraton.
