Because of snow in our mountains, conditions still require WINTER EQUIPMENT (crampons, ice pick, suitable foot wear, warm clothing) EXPERIENCE AND KNOWWLEDGE of how to use the equipment and move safely in the mountains in winter conditions.
The conditions in our mountains are very demanding , most of the mountain lodges are still closed. We advise hiring mountain guides.
Right now demanding paths, »Via Ferratas« on Mangart, Kanin, Mojstrovka, Prisojnik are still under a large ammount of snow.
