We recommend that you book your accommodation for the summer holidays in Soča Valley well in advance.
July and August are the months when it is often difficult, if not impossible, to find a room or apartment in the Soča Valley at the last minute. Campsites are also getting increasingly busy in the summer months. The most popular accommodations are tourist farms and houses with special stories. Soča valley prides itself with nine tourist accommodation providers with the Slovenia Green Accommodation label and eight with the Triglav National Park Quality Label.
We recommend booking your accommodation well before summer when there are still plenty of places available. Early bookings are often cheaper than last minute bookings. Having fixed your accommodation will also make it easier to plan other activities in the valley. Between May and October, you can buy a destination card at partner accommodation or tourist information centres and explore Soča Valley at a cheaper price.
If you do decide to visit Soča Valley in the last minute, please check availability before your departure. We cannot promise that we will be able to get a bed for every single one who contacts us in July and August.
