Kamp Koren is located on the outskirts of the Triglav National Park on the left bank of the Soča River in the vicinity of the town of Kobarid which is full of history and excellent cuisine. The entire camp was arranged by taking into account the nature and protection of natural resources. Therefore, it is no coincidence that the camp was one of the first to receive the Slovenia Green Accommodation label.

In 2011, Kamp Koren was the first camp in Slovenia that met the demanding criteria for the acquisition of the EU Ecolabel – European certificate for sustainable Eco-tourism. In 2013, the camp also received the Ecocamping certificate. Here, the nature is treated with respect: Energy for water heating comes from renewable resources, water is used in an efficient manner, cleaning is performed with the help of natural biodegradable cleaning agents, reusable containers are used, and the waste is separated. Such behaviour is promoted on every step. In the store you can always buy fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables from local farms and other local specialities, such as cheese, genuine Slovenian honey, dried meat products, herbs and aromatic plants.

At Kamp Koren, guests can camp or rent of ecological log cabins or glamping huts. Additional offer includes sauna, salt room, multi-purpose hall, gym, climbing wall, adrenaline park, and an electric vehicle charging station.

Everyone will find something for themselves at Kamp Koren. This applies to adrenaline seekers as well as those who seek tranquillity and contact with the intact nature. The surrounding area is perfect for cycling, hiking, rafting, canyoning and other outdoor activities.
