Hike along the Rapallo Border (Podbrdo – Robarjev grič – Podbrdo)

A guided hike along the traces of the Rapallo Border from Podbrdo to Robarjev grič and Zalodnikarjev grič, and back to Podbrdo.
We will set off from the Podbrdo Tourist Information Centre at 9:30 a.m. and follow a scenic trail towards Milpoh, then continue along a pleasant forest road to Robarjev grič. At the former Italian military barracks, located at a beautiful viewpoint, there will be time for a break, a snack and a chat.
Along the way, a local tourist guide will introduce participants to life in this area in the past and present, and share the hopes that the residents of the Bača Valley have for the future.
We will continue to Zalodnikarjev grič, where we will visit the largest surviving underground bunker from the period of the Rapallo Border. We will then descend to Petrovo Brdo and return to the starting point in Podbrdo along the old road.
The trail is not demanding and is suitable for participants of different ages. After the hike, lunch will be served at the Podbrdo Tourist Information Centre.
