In the easternmost part of the Soča Valley is the Baška grapa, in which lies the village of Podbrdo. It was in this village that the first mountain run in Slovenia took place way back in 1970.
The surroundings of the Alpine mountains and the hills of Škofja Loka are an excellent combination of high mountain paths and hilly meadows for the most attractive trails. All efforts on the trails are outweighed by the friendliness of the locals, who have lived in these remote valleys and ravines for centuries.
This is a festival with which we give hope to demographically endangered areas, that it is worth persevering on our land. This hope is brought by you runners, who return to our places to discover the most challenging and unspoilt trails in Slovenia.
