The Walk of Peace Foundation and Kobarid Museum are organizing guided tours of WW1 outdoor museums on Mt. Kolovrat, Ravelnik and Mengore and the WW1 Kobarid Museum. Come and unveil the stories of war and peace with experienced local guides, hidden in the soothing embrace of nature.

Along the organized circular path of the outdoor museum Ravelnik on a minor elevation near Bovec, surrounded by mighty mountains where the Austro-Hungarian first line of defense under Mt. Rombon resisted the Italian attacks, you shall discover the numerous remains and heritage from a hundred years ago. A genuine display of the surviving machine gun emplacements, caves, pillboxes, cabins, trenches, etc., now interlaced with lush nature, will put you in direct contact with the memory that is inherent to this landscape.
