Apartment Šmarnica is located in a part of a residential house.The other rooms are home to our family.
The accommodation is a true oasis of peace, enriched by the gentle sound of a nearby stream, birdsong, and the ringing of cowbells in the nearby meadow.
The location offers opportunities for walks along forest paths past beehives to the farm in Pleše, cycling in the nearby hills, which invite you with views of the Tolmin–Cerkno hills, the Julian Alps, and the Kamnik–Savinja Alps. In good weather, you can even see the peaks of the Dolomites.
On hot days, you can refresh yourself in the Hotenjka stream and in the Trebuščica and Idrijca rivers. You can also visit the site of the world’s oldest musical instrument in the Divje Babe cave.
