Nebesa Chalets include four two-person chalets located on a sightseeing terrace between the sky and the earth. They provide luxurious vacations for four couples almost 1,000 m above the sea level overlooking the peaks of the Julian Alps, Triglav National Park and the emerald Soča River in the valley below.

In the village of Livek above Kobarid, where a ski lodge used to stand, Katja and Bojan Roš fulfilled their vision in 2003 and set an example for Slovenian tourism – boutique, green and extremely private accommodations, which received four architectural awards already in the first year of operation.

Eight years ago, a solar power plant was set up, producing two-thirds of the energy required for operation (four houses, common room, wine cellar, gym and wellness). Energy refurbishment in 2019 included installation of additional heat pumps that provide self-sufficiency. At the same time, energy and water consumption was reduced by 25% and less waste is being generated. In addition, a biological waste treatment plant and two electric vehicle chargers were also installed. Guests are encouraged to use e-bicycles to reach the destination where they will have lunch. The owners promote life without waste plastic and tin cans and offer locally produced food.

In 2019, Nebesa Chalets received the Travelife sustainability certificate and the Slovenia Green Accommodation Label in the beginning of 2020.
