Why would you run in the stadiums and in the halls if you can count your running kilometres in the clean, breathtaking nature of the Soča Valley? Exercise on trails that lead across dreamy pastures, across bridges and rivers, next to the pearls of nature and historical sights.
Running through the nature is becoming an increasingly more popular form of recreation. Running uphill and downhill on the arranged walking paths will lead you through the forests, the pastures and the remote villages, will ease your soul and strengthen your body. Listen to the silence, the singing of the birds and your body. The diversity of the terrain demands concentration and helps you with proper coordination of the leg, arm and body movement and to keep the right balance.
If your condition and skills allow you to overcome the great differences in height and you like ascending, descending and the beautiful views of the Alpine world, you can participate in the mountain run, which, in addition to the already stated, mostly contributes to shaping your body.
The Soča Valley is a Venue for Several Running Events
Each year, recreative runners attend various running events, the tracks of which are interesting also for unorganised forms of runs.
