Waterfall Virje, Bovec

The path leads us from the village Plužna to the waterfall Virje and to the reservoir Lake Plužna.

The path leads us from the village Plužna, a sunny village below Kanin mountain to the source of Giljun stream and the magic waterfall Virje. The Glijun stream falls into a 20-meter wide and 12-meter-high-stranded waterfall, under which a charming pool of green shades arises.

From the waterfall the path leads us up the road, where we cross the wooden bridge over the Gljun stream. After the canal we return to the reservoir Lake Plužna, where a beautiful view of the Bovec basin and the Julian Alps opens. Along the canal we continue to the first mark on the left, where we cross the buried stone bridge over the Gljun by the golf course. To the left along the road, the path leads us back to the village Plužna.
