Cycling to Stržišče and Rut
Rut and Stržišče are delightful, tiny villages “sunbathing” on terraces high above the valley, which offer stunning, panoramic views.
Description: Koritnica - Hudajužna - Stržišče - Rut - Koritnica.
A demanding and attractive tour through the picturesque villages (Rut, Stržišče), which were settled by settlers from Tyrol in the 13th Century.
From Hudajužne we ascend to Stržišče, there we look for forest paths that take us above Rut under the crests of Peči from where we return to the paved road and back to the valley. Before we reach Stržišče we can ascend to the left and at the pass turn right to find the forest path that takes us to Rut.
|Difference in height:||650 (760) m|
