The NATOUR trade show in Slovenia was launched by the Bovec Local Tourist Board. Sports tourism providers and providers of active holiday programmes in Bovec participated in the event, along with the providers of similar programmes from the wider Alpine region and other parts of Slovenia.

NATOUR 2009 has shown clearly that it needs to continue. On the initiative of the hiking and cycling association and partners of the Slovenian tourist board, the Bovec local tourist organisation, the Pohorje sports centre, the association of mountain centres of Slovenia and the GO.MICE technical organiser, we have set up a more extensive organisation committee for the Natour 2010 trade show. The main goal of the NATOUR trade show is to allow the leading sports tourism providers and providers of active holidays to meet with tour operators, tourist agencies, potential investors, representatives of interest associations and other potential buyers of these services.

In contrast to performances at trade fairs, pre-scheduled meetings between service providers and service users make up the core of the NATOUR event, which is closed to the general public. A great deal of care goes into the optimum utilisation of the available time.

The organisers want to make the NATOUR trade show the venue for meetings, ideas and possibilities for making new links between the participants!
